Living Creatively was delighted to be invited to participate in the recent Bag Ladies Brunch, hosted by Nicole Mallalieu of Nicole Mallalieu Design. The brunch was organised to raise awareness and funds for OvCa - Australian Ovarian Cancer Network.
Always one to help out for a good cause we tempted everyone with delicious strawberry tarts and sewing inspired goodie bags filled with products donated by generous wholesalers such as Fiskars Craft and Birch Haberdashery. Spencer & Rutherford also very kindly donated a fabulous bag as a door prize…lots of jealous looks when the winner was announced on that one!
The event attracted more than 100 ‘bag’ ladies who thoroughly enjoyed the delicious brunch and the chance to be the first to get their hands on Nicole Mallalieu’s latest BEACH BAG patterns. Judging by the smiles on everyone’s faces and the queue to pay they were all extremely impressed with the Summer 2008/2009 designs. The event raised a considerable donation for OvCa.
